Maura LaRiviere, ASTC
Principal
Maura joined The Shalleck Collaborative in 2013 and is now a Principal of the firm. Prior to joining our team, she led the drafting and coordination of documents for tradeshow and museum installations with well-known fabrication studios in Oakland and Las Vegas. With skills as a fabricator and carpenter, Maura brings to each project an eye for installation and ease of use. Not a stranger to the theatre, Maura earned her BFA at the University of Connecticut, and went on to work as Master Carpenter/Foreman at Syracuse Stage and Assistant Technical Director at the Santa Fe Opera.
In her ten-year tenure with TSC, Maura has steadily and continuously increased her expertise in all aspects of theatre consulting, progressing from Consultant to Principal. Her strengths are impeccable organization and a profound understanding of scheduling demands, both of which are invaluable additions to complex project teams she has managed.
In her spare time, Maura is a dedicated climber and volunteers with several local non-profit entities, serving as President of the Bay Area Climbers Coalition, and as Recruiting Officer for the Bay Area Mountain Rescue Unit (BAMRU). She is also involved in the nascent professional organization Women+ In Theatre Consulting and a member of the American Society of Theatre Consultants.
