A Campus for Collaboration at Ionis Pharmaceuticals

Constructed in 2021 as part of Ionis Pharmaceuticals’ Carlsbad headquarters campus, this conference center enhances the company’s internal and external collaboration capabilities. The facility includes over 20 Zoom- and Teams-equipped conference rooms, large multi-functional meeting and instructional spaces, and a full-scale broadcast/streaming suite, supporting everything from internal briefings to global virtual events.

The Shalleck Collaborative provided AV consulting for the project, designing scalable systems that unified conferencing, presentation, and streaming across the facility. By integrating professional AV, intuitive control interfaces, and centralized management, our work enables Ionis to conduct high-quality, technology-driven communications within and beyond the organization—empowering scientific collaboration and enhancing internal learning.
